Richard Gurney is the Global Head of Construction. Based in Marsh’s London office, he has worked in the London insurance market for 31 years. Richard has extensive experience of working with the construction industries largest risk managed, complex and multinational clients and many of the world’s largest projects, being responsible for developing overall strategy and service delivery on a global basis.
Leading and working with teams across diverse global locations ensures that Richard is acutely attuned to the trends within the construction industry. Richard has a deep understanding of the implications of the developing ESG regulatory and societal changes on the construction industry and a keen interest in working with colleagues to ensure clients receive proactive and industry leading advice and support to manage and mitigate the changing risk profile.
