Ralph Thannheiser is a Director, Automotive & Manufacturing Industries in the Marsh McLennan Advantage team. Based in Munich, Germany, Ralph focuses on harnessing the strength of the four Marsh McLennan businesses to develop solutions for automotive OEM’s, suppliers and the wider manufacturing industry. Ralph works across the organization to deliver Marsh McLennan’s One Enterprise vision by helping to grow client relationships, develop best-in-class commercial solutions and accelerate revenue growth in these industries.
With more than a decade of experience in the Automotive strategy consulting and Mobility Insurance sector, Ralph has a comprehensive industry knowledge. He has led the conceptualization and implementation of key strategic business initiatives in times of pivotal shifts in the industry – from designing and implementing insurance product propositions for emerging New Mobility players to developing international business relationships with key OEMs.
Holding a diploma in business administration from EMAU University of Greifswald, Ralph has gathered in-depth functional knowledge in the fields of product development, commercial underwriting, reinsurance solutions, risk transfer and claims management. Being German by origin, Ralph is fluent in German and English, with basic proficiency in Spanish.
