Current Responsibilities

Craig Dancer is the Transportation Industry Practice Leader responsible for directing a dedicated team of industry specialists and subject matter experts within the transportation industry specializing in public transit, trucking, logistics, and transportation services. Specialized services dedicated to the transportation and logistics industry include: alternative capital & reinsurance, captive advisory and management; fleet risk consulting; fleet and warehousing ergonomics; claims management and consulting

Craig has 26 years industry experience working at Marsh developing alternative risk finance solutions for a wide spectrum of clients within the transportation industry including trucking, logistics, large public transit systems, livery, shared-economy platforms and large private (truck and private passenger) fleets.

Craig is a national resource for the development of strategies to analyze, address and manage total cost of risk (TCOR) combining risk financing, claim mitigation and claim management strategies. He offers specialized insight and experience developing Alternative Risk, Captive and Integrated Risk program structures.

Experience

Craig started his career with Marsh in 1992 before joining KPMG in 2000 to establish the Risk Management Practice for BearingPoint, Inc. (formally KPMG Consulting) one of the largest global information technology consulting firms where he served as the senior director of insurance and risk. He rejoined Marsh in 2005, and has combined service with Marsh totaling twenty two years. He has a total of 27 years of experience in risk management consulting and insurance advisory fields.
