James Davis

Partner, Global Corporate and Institutional Banking, Oliver Wyman

 

 

James is a Partner in the Corporate & Institution Banking practice and a member of the financial-services team in Japan.  James advises global and Japanese banking institutions on issues around their business strategy, capital and liquidity, approach to technology, and operations.  He previously served as co-head of the firm’s global Corporate & Institutional Banking business and is currently a co-lead for Oliver Wyman’s Climate Change and Sustainable Finance platform. 

Climate finance is an issue that holds great significance for James, both in his capacity as climate change and sustainability lead and on a personal level. He believes financial services firms can play an important positive role in supporting and driving the transition to a lower carbon economy. 

James studied economics and management at Oxford and spent a year in China before joining Oliver Wyman.
