Neal is an insurance and privacy lawyer who sits in the product development team in London. He advises retail and wholesale clients on their cyber policy wordings, and participates in a number of Marsh’s global cyber initiatives as the UK’s coverage representative to help deliver the most competitive coverage terms to clients around the world. Neal also assists both the UK cyber incident management and cyber claims teams when clients experience a cyber event.
Prior to joining Marsh in 2020, Neal was an associate in the cyber and data risk team of a leading insurance law firm. His practice included acting as breach response counsel following data breaches, defence counsel in privacy claims and group litigation, coverage and monitoring counsel on cyber claims, and wordings counsel on cyber policies.
Neal regularly writes on a variety of cyber and data protection topics, and speaks at industry events including conferences such as Advisen.
