Ray Hutnik is the global practice leader of Marsh Advisory's Financial Risk Consulting Solutions, which includes two primary groups: Forensic Accounting and Claims Services and Construction Consulting and Risk Mitigation. Our multidisciplinary team of over 100 consultants worldwide provides expert assistance in the quantification and measurement of property claims and business interruption losses, construction and builders risk claims, construction delays, review of economic claims from third parties, and employee theft and fraud losses that can help clients achieve a superior recovery and/or minimize losses resulting from catastrophic events, operational interruptions, litigation, or commercial disputes.
Based out of the Philadelphia office, Ray also directly assists clients with their financial recovery through the preparation of complex claims, business interruption claims, builder’s risk claims, and insurance dispute litigation services
Ray joined Marsh Advisory in 2001. Ray focuses his practice on providing forensic accounting services in the measurement of damages, valuations, and financial investigations. The services are provided on both a national and international level. Ray is presently involved in the supervision of numerous financial investigations, utilizing a staff of experienced professionals to assist in the completion of the assignments. His projects encompass a wide variety of industries including manufacturing, chemicals, life sciences, education, tech/telecomm/media, hospitality/gaming, retail/wholesale, power/utilities, financial institutions, and professional services.
Since 1985, Ray has focused his career entirely on investigative auditing, the measurement of damages, and forensic accounting. He has diversified experience in matters dealing with loss of earnings, loss of profits, product liability, business valuations, stock losses, property losses, fidelity losses, arson, and fraud. Ray has also provided deposition and expert witness testimony services on various matters related to financial damages measurement and valuation.
