Ye Yuan is based in New York and serves as a Catastrophe Risk Research Analyst with the Parametric Advisory team at Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC, where his expertise lies in parametric risk transfer. Joining the Guy Carpenter team in June 2021, Ye currently engages in the development and refinement of algorithms and visualization tools for optimal design of natural hazard parametric solutions. His work supports the (re)insurance brokerage business and facilitates effective communication of technical solutions to both internal and external audiences. Ye is a graduate of Columbia University, where he earned his Master of Science in Business Analytics in 2021 and a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research. Additionally, he holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Mathematics from Brandeis University.
