Marsh & McLennan Companies Names Mark McGivney Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance

NEW YORK, Sep 30, 2014 (BUSINESS WIRE) --Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (NYSE:MMC), a global professional services firm offering clients advice and solutions in risk, strategy, and human capital, today announced that Mark McGivney will become Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance, reporting to Marsh & McLennan Companies Chief Financial Officer Mike Bischoff, effective October 1, 2014.

In his new position, Mr. McGivney will be responsible for overseeing the Corporate Development, Investor Relations, and Treasury functions. Since 2011, Mr. McGivney has served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Mercer, a global consulting leader in talent, health, retirement, and investments. From 2007 to 2011, Mr. McGivney was Chief Financial Officer of Marsh, a global leader in insurance broking and risk management.
